About the author

A medical student in Puerto Rico.
Son, husband, & father-to-be.
Fierce human rights advocate, and no fan of the current regime.
I despise everything currently associated with the word neoconservative, have no respect for the type of Christian who needs to trumpet his own belief in the divinity of Jesus, and loathe those that advocate war in order to promote democracy, but never seem to have the time, nor the cojones, to actually serve. As once said, Caged birds sing of freedom, free birds fly.
I am also one of the editors of , the international health journal of the , one of the best student associations there is, medical or not. This website is not affiliated with or endorsed by AMSA. In other words, this is a personal blog.
My main interests are global health & human rights. Other interests include primary care, universal healthcare, HIV/AIDS, child labor, global warming, pediatrics, and pretty much anything else that is in the categories section of this blog.
I update this blog with 2-3 postings on an almost-daily basis, always at night. Feel free to comment on any of the postings of this blog, or to contact me at trulyequal@gmail.com

Your blog is truly a kick in the ass of complacency. Thanks for pushing home points many Americans would rather ignore. I share your sentiments and would like to see Dubya charged with a host of human rights violations.

With all due respect to your scientific background, I think you are naive with your approach to the thimerosal-autism link. Its hypocritical to attack someone on a message board of another blog that evidence isnt there to support nearly 5,000 claims that are being litigated in a federal causation hearing. The vast majority of controversial groundbreaking discoveries that force us to change our way of lives by a researcher, scientist, etc. have historically been ostracized and murdered for their invaluable contributions to mankind.
As a progressive liberal, I support your political beliefs and activism. However, many parents like my own, know more about autism and its effects than the medical doctors themselves. I strongly suggest you read Evidence of Harm to learn more about what you presently refute as conspiracy nonsense and myth.
